After our night of Southern delicacies, we decided we would do a bit of hiking to work off the sins of the night before. Early Sunday morning, we headed out on the “Mountain to Sea” trail in the OC… up, Up, UP we went on the trail that was more mountain, than sea. While it was a nice view, I was more interested in the edible garden around me, full of wild fennel, mustard, squash, and so much more. One track mind, I suppose.
So what was my reward for this 5 mile trek through OC’s wild? A Maine Lobster Roll. Go figure. Now about that fennel…
